One of the world's largest fun runs and New Zealand’s largest mass participation sporting event, the Ports of Auckland ‘Round the Bays’ fun run attracts more than 30,000 participants and the 8.5km course snakes around the coast from Auckland CBD and finishes at St Heliers.
In March Viridian Glass, Euroglass and V2 made up an impressive 96 entries. “This was my first Round the Bays and I was suitably impressed” says Richard Aitken, General Manager. “I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fantastic volunteer work from Tupou, Jay, Bish and Sarah. But the award of the day goes to Mere Mani who organised the event. Every year the fun run donates $50,000 to three charities and this year they helped children's charities. Well done team.
