CSR Limited appoints new Chief Financial Officer

CSR Limited announced today that Anne Brennan has been appointed ChiefFinancial Officer to replace Warren Saxelby who advised last year that hewanted to step down from the company in order to take an extended break.

Warren joined CSR in October 2001 and has played a critical role in theteam which structured CSR’s successful demerger of Rinker Group Limited completedin March 2003. More recently, Warren hashelped lead the transformation of CSR Limited into a major diversifiedindustrial company including significant rationalisation of the company’s coststructure.

CSR’s Managing Director and CEO Alec Brennan commented, “While we arevery pleased to welcome Anne Brennan to CSR – who incidentally is not relatedto me – we are very sorry to see Warren go.”

Anne Brennan is a Senior Partner of professional services firm Ernst& Young and member of the firm’s Board of Partners. She brings over 25 years of audit andtransaction advisory experience for a range of large companies. In addition, she is the Partner in Charge ofthe Transaction Support team at Ernst & Young and was previously a memberof the Ernst & Young Australian Management Committee.

“Anne brings a unique combination of transaction experience andaccounting skills to CSR. She knowsCSR’s businesses well, having played an advisory role during the demerger ofRinker in 2003, and is well placed to make an early contribution to thecompany,” said Mr Brennan.

Anne will be joining CSR on 20 February 2006 to work with Warren on thehandover of his responsibilities prior to the start of CSR’s new financialyear.
